Yedhu Radhakrishnan has the legacy of being the son of India’s legendary cinematographer late M.J.Radhakrishnan. Yedhu started his career as an associate cinematographer to his father India’s National Award winning cinematographer M J Radhakrishnan in Olu by Shaji n Karun (National Award for Cinematography) followed by Veyilmarangal by Dr. Biju (Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award at Shanghai) & Painting life by Dr. Biju (Premios Da Critica (Critics Award)) at 39th Oporto International film festival). As an independent cinematographer he has worked in award winning films, “The Portraits” , “Adrishya Jalakangal (Invisible Windows)”, “House of Orange Trees”, He also worked in Telugu language films “Okkate Asha”, “ Sthalam” etc.

He holds a Diploma in Music from FCA–UPNG and has undertaken various short courses in Business English, Music Education, and Dramatic Arts. His professional roles include Trainee Ethnomusicologist at the Institute of PNG Studies, Senior Research Officer at the NRI, and Piano Mentor & Keyboardist with MMPUG (2023–2024). With expertise in music education, cultural research, and talent scouting, Mr. Gima has significantly contributed to preserving PNG’s musical heritage.
